WE LIVE SURROUNDED BY JUNK.

My instinct is to harness it as inspiration and material for creation. I feel compelled; I am part magpie, part alchemist, part Womble.

I find it endlessly fascinating and inspiring to discover the next life latent in a discarded object; to be involved with that object for a while, and thus implicated in how it is subsequently esteemed. while working my mind wanders around ideas of emotional and physical connection, family, history, technology and human ingenuity and morality, and myself as a part of the whole gamut of existence.
